Jacob's expression turned pale and was unable to speak. When he brought Freya to a ball back then, she was humiliated by everyone. However, he was unable to defend her due to the pressure his family exerted on him. Moreover, he was also unable to snatch her away from Nathaniel, nor was he able to return her freedom to her. Freya stared at Jacob in disbelief
and as Jacob glanced at the
approaching Taylor, he said, "I'll send someone to help get you out of here soon. Nathaniel is trying to break free from his step-father's control don't think he's able to pull that off that easily. He did not cover his tracks well and I found something. He went to South-east Asia to get out of the crime related business. But, things won't be that easy for him. As long as he's involved in crime, he'll never be able to escape it." Jacob stared at Freya and said, "I will get you out of here once he
dies."
This shocked Freya as Jacob smirked when he noticed how surprised she looked. After that, he removed the fallen leaf from her hair and crushed it before saying, “What's the matter? Can't let him go? Are you worried about him?"
Jacob composed himself and
decided not to say anything else as he hugged her and said, "Just wait for my updates. We're all beasts, and I'm worried if I'd scare you once l say it. Goodbye now." As Taylor approached them, Jacob whispered to Freya, "I love you, Freya Let me be the one to take care of you next time."
By the time Jacob released Freya, Taylor was already standing in front of him. He glared at Jacob and said, "Please don't go too far now, Mr. Jacob. Or things will be bad for everyone."
Jacob smiled and surrendered before returning to his car. Before he left, he told Taylor, "If you want to look for your sister, I might be able to help! Goodbye, Ms. Freya." He blew her a kiss before speeding away.
Freya felt alive as she watched Jacob disappear into the woods. She did not expect Jacob to lash out on Nathaniel in just a few days. They were once good friends, and the person who knew Nathaniel the best would be Jacob. She was frustrated but could not understand why. She wanted Nathaniel to die, but when she was finally going to see that happen, she felt stressed and anxious.
