The contempt in Scarlett’s eyes turned to rage. Kristen did not miss the change in her eye and she continued, “So? Do you agree?”

Scarlett giggled, “So it’s for money. But Kristen, aren’t you asking for a bit too much?”

Kristen clenched her fists, “But Ethan is worth so much, isn’t he? If you mean it, this little money should not be a problem.”

Scarlett said with forced lightness, “You’re right, one billion isn’t much to Ethan and TNK Group, but what makes you think your departure is worth that much, Kristen? Believe it or not, I can sue you for extortion.”
