AS A HUSBAND AND FATHER
“Any news?” Sebastian asked walking into the house,
“Not at all, not even a trace, but Arion is walking on something already, he’d be sure to find something soon” Rowan replied typing on his laptop noisily.
“Where were you off to?” Rowan asked, noticing the stain of blood on Sebastian,
“I went to visit a brother….” He said with sarcasm, unbuttoning his shirt.
“Logan?”
“Yes, but it seems as if he has nothing to do with this, I’m beginning to suspect Kate, but I’m not sure she knows about Adia yet” Sebastian reasoned, grabbing another shirt from his closet.
“I don’t think so,” Rowan mumbled, staring intently at his laptop.
“What do you mean?” Sebastian asked walking closer to Rowan, to take a closer look.
” Here, on the 15th of August, Adia reportedly met Kate at the famous coffee shop,” Rowan explained, showing Sebastian the footage.
“How did you get this?”
“I looked into Adia’s movements for the past few months and found this” Rowan informed, as realization dawned on Sebastian, this can go really bad of Kate’s the one responsible for Adia’s abduction,
“What is she saying to her?” Sebastian asked as it was obvious they were engaged in a very serious conversation.
“Let me check if I can get any sound signal” Rowan said working on a few things, before he was finally able to get the sound after some time,
“Shit” Sebastian cursed loudly as he listened to their little conversation, Kate can be so contemptible, listening to their conversation was enough to know that she might have a hand in this, then there came a part that alerted them,
“Wait, is she compelling her!!” Rowan exclaimed in horror as he increased the volume,

” She clearly compelled her to walk into the road, till she gets hit by a car” Rowan uttered in disbelief, because as long as he’s concerned Adia has never being involved in am accident, and a vampire’s compulsion never fails, unless the person being compelled took ginger water,
“Have you been feeding Adia with ginger water?’ Rowan asked because the compulsion obviously did not work on Adia.
” Not at all, I warned everyone never to compel her, and didn’t see the need for ginger water” Sebastian explained utterly speechless as well, he didn’t know if this was a good thing or not.
“The compulsion did not work, this only means that, Adia can’t be compelled, compulsion don’t fucking work on her” Rowan concluded,
“Humans can never resist compulsion, but…”
” Witches can” Rowan broke in interrupting Sebastian,
” Witches…” he repeated watching Rowan sternly,
“Yes, Witches can’t be compelled” Rowan phrased it again, taking this to be good news, if Adia’s a witch, there might be a chance of saving her.
“Witches have gone extinct, we executed them, remember, vampires we burnt them all to aches” Sebastian reminded Rowan, who continuously creased his brows looking for the best explanation for this,
“But…”
“That’s not the problem at hand now” Sebastian chimed in,
“We need to make sure Adia’s alive, before declaring who’s a witch or not, and we can’t be certain if Kate’s really responsible for this, she compelled her to jump into a moving vehicle, she might still think Adia’s dead, or maybe hospitalized, so there’s no proof yet” Sebastian theorized as Rowan nodded in approval,
“Call Evans and ask him to find out about the whereabouts of his sister, inform everyone about our new theory, so they should focus on finding Kate also,” Sebastian added.
“On it,”
Sebastian fist curled up, as he thought of what Adia might be going through if Kate’s really the one responsible for this, Kate is obsessed with him and will do anything to get him, even by killing her best friend Aisling, so if she’s the one who kidnapped Adia, they need to locate them as soon as possible, because Adia’s in real trouble, if he don’t get to save her fast.
“I’ll try and look for any other clues” Rowan muttered, wiping the Sheen of sweat off, from his handsome face.
“I swear I’ll kill everyone who has a hand in this?” Sebastian swore, imagining the amount of pain Adia must be going through, only made him Moreau furious and troubled at the same time.
He didn’t know why, but he didn’t want what happened years ago with Aisling to happen again, history mustn’t repeat itself, never, Adia cannot die, not with his child.
A sound of something shattering was heard as Sebastian and Rowan stood up, ready to attack the intruder.
“Did you think I’d leave so easily?” Logan said with a sly smile as Sebastian rolled his eyes.
“Rowan hey, it’s been a long time” he waved at Rowan who held a stoic face.
“How did you get in,?” Sebastian asked because he has the best of the best vampires guarding this place and Logan wouldn’t be able to get in that easily.
“I’m a Moreau, just told them my identity, and boom, I was allowed in here” Logan uttered smiling widely at Sebastian.
“I thought I clearly told you to mind your damn business, ” Sebastian grunted angrily.
“Let’s put our differences aside and face the problem at hand” Logan said, wearing his normal expressionless face, he had already come to a conclusion.
“And that is?” Sebastian drawled out watching him with keen eyes that held nothing but hate.
“Let’s find Adia, me as a friend, you, as a husband and father”

Located at the outskirts of the city, an old, abandoned house, with two heavily built men guarding the house.
The door led to a small dark room, with a small window as the only source of light there.
A small petite figure laid there, as the person fumbled on the floor, opening her eyes slowly, only to be welcomed by darkness, ignoring the splitting headache she felt, Adia managed to get up on her feet looking round the room that looked empty, the smell only made her feel nauseous, as she felt like puking her intestine out.
The only light coming in was from a little window that did little or nothing to make her see the whole room.
Everything that happened to her earlier, portrayed to her, as realization hit her, she has been abducted.
