“Am done now, we can get going. ” Adia announced, wrapping up her breakfast as she wiped the corner of her lips with a serviette, looking up at Sebastian who just sat patiently waiting for her.
She literally overslept today and woke up past nine even after telling Sebastian she was going to follow him to the office, but it was not her fault that she enjoyed her sleep and overslept.
When she woke up, she was expecting Sebastian to be long gone, but was surprised to hear from Monica that he was still waiting for her, she had to hasten up in all she did, from freshening up, dressing up and having breakfast, so she’ll not get him angry, but he didn’t look angry as his face just held a calm facade.
“Let’s go” he said getting up on his feet,
“Good morning, Mick” Adia waved at Mickelson who stood beside Malcolm, as Sebastian brows furrowed the moment she mentioned Mick.
“Good morning ma’am,” Mickelson replied, bowing in respect.
“Let’s go” she picked up her purse walking close to Sebastian as they both left for work.

“Why are you calling him Mick?” He asked as they headed to the car.
“Because mickelson is a pretty long name, besides I gave him the nickname, it’s nice right?” she questioned,
” No” Sebastian snapped
“Sebastian’s long too, you call me Sebastian”he added
“I Know but…wait” Adia paused,
” Are you jealous?” she asked as she burst out laughing.
” Not at all, I just don’t like the sound of nicknames in my ears, so don’t ever call him Mickelson again, ever” he deadpanned as they got to the car.
” But sometimes I call you Seb, and you do answer”
” Because I’m Sebastian” he said, as they got to where the car was parked.
” Get in,” he said, walking to the driver’s seat.
” You’re driving?” Adia asked puzzled,
” Yes,” he replied, getting into the car.
” What about Malcolm and Mickelson?” She asked following suit.
” They’ll use the other car” he replied, fastening his seat belt as he started the car.
“Your seat belt” he pointed out to Adia, who fastened her seat belt.
“Why did…”

Adia looked outside the window smiling uncontrollably as she admired the environment, it’s so obvious he was jealous when she called Mickelson by his nickname, he just don’t want to accept it, knowing that Sebastian was jealous of someone because of her, really made her feel special, that she just can’t stop smiling.

“My love, I have missed you,” Laura pouted, engulfing Adia in a tight hug.
“Me too, I missed this place”
Adia responded, she really missed Laura and everything around here.
“You claim you missed me, but you didn’t even bother to come and say hi or even know how I was faring, you didn’t even call” Adia stated as they broke from each other’s hug, throughout the time she was hospitalized, she didn’t even hear from Laura, not to talk of Laura visiting her, there was not even a phone call, sane with Logan, it’s like Logan just disappeared into thin air, as she’s not been able to reach him, he just ghosted her, after sending a farewell Text message to her and she won’t even date and ask Sebastian about him, she has no idea of what’s going on between both brothers, but one thing is certain Sebastian gates Logan Moreau.
“I’m so sorry, I really wanted to come, but I was stuck here with work and all sir Sebastian didn’t even show up, and that didn’t help issues at all, it was just me, and you know how hectic work can be, even when it’s the two of us, do don’t blame me, i had conferences, meetings to attend, just me, I’m so sorry, but Know that I love you and I missed you a lot” Laura explained, breathlessly, she really missed Adia, and it’s not her fault she never got to reach her to ask after her.

” So how have you been managing?” Adia asked Laura as she helped her with sine work, Sebastian was currently in a business meeting now.
“Pretty well, I guess and thanks to Rowan, it’s been a little easier” Laura stated,
“Rowan??”
“Yes, he’s been helping me around here, oh, I need to tell you something” she began as Adia gave her rapt attention
“Well, Rowan and I are dating” she broke out happily as Adia gasped Loudly.
“Dating??” She squealed, the news was so shocking to her.
“Yes, though we just started dating, and it doesn’t feel like we’re dating at all” Laura expressed with a frown.
“Why, what happened?”
“Well, we’ve been flirting for months and just made the relationship official, but it just doesn’t settle well with me, though I do love him, a lot, and I’m sure he loves me as well, but the thing is, we hardly have time for each other, either one of us is too busy for the other, it’s always work, work, work, we’ve never gone on a proper date before, we don’t even do what couples do, everything is just seriousness and work” Laura complained bitterly,
” And you want to know the most crazy fact of this, it’s that we’ve never had sex before, it’s either a call comes in, when we’re about to do the deed,” Laura added, it really hurts her.
” I understand your pain, I really do, at least we understand that he’s not ignoring you, it’s just duty calls” Adia coaxed, she doesn’t know much about Rowan, as she rarely speaks and just goes with his normal life and only shows up when he’s needed, she’s sure he’s a great guy.

“I have an idea,” Adia said as Laura enthusiastically looked at her.

“Why don’t you guys go on a vacation, just the two of you, no duty calls, no work, just the two of you” Adia proposed as Laura bought the idea.
“I love that, really, I do, but will Rowan and sir Sebastian accept that”
” Leave that for me, right now, just focus on your upcoming vacation” Adia assured as Laura hugged her again.
” I love you Adia, you’re the best” she pouted as Adia caressed her back softly.
