Sebastian’s jaw worked as he stood,
“Yes” came his blunt reply
“And I’d love it if you don’t speak about her anymore” he started walking away.
“Ok, I’m sorry” Adia apologized not wanting to ruin the good mood, cause he might just flare up at her, though his reply really hit her deep, she just decided not to get angry about it.
Sebastian led her into the garden to a place where a wooden chair stood,
“What were you doing here all along?” Adia asked, sitting comfortably on the chair just like he said it was really chilly outside.
“Receiving fresh air” came his reply as he sat beside her,
“With cigarettes and alcohol” Adia added, seeing a bottle of tequila, a pack of cigarettes and a bottle beside her.
“Yes, pass me that” he said as Adia gave everything to him.
“I would have loved to join you, but I’m pregnant and can’t take alcohol” she said watching him fill the cup with alcohol as he gulped down the contents in the cup, repeating the same thing.
” I’d really love to have something to chew and cold milk” she spoke turning to face him, biting her lips nervously, the answer she wants to hear from him now is,
Ok I’ll get you that, I’ll be back in a jiffy, then he’ll speed off using his vampire powers, but she knows deep within her that will never happen, it’ll just remain buried deep in her imagination.
“I’ll go get them for you” he suddenly said as if he read her mouth as Adia choked out in surprise.
“You’ll what?”
“Didn’t you say, you wanted something to chew, I’ll go get them” he repeated placing his bottle of tequila on the chair, in the space between them, he got up on his feet and leaped off, landing on the window of his study room as he got inside.
Adia looked up admiring the sky with the beautiful stars adoring it, it looked so magical and the fact that Sebastian was with her made it more magical.

“Wow, you brought my favorite chips” Adia squealed happily collecting the things from him, this was literally her favorite and she has lots of this stuffed in her room.
“Where did you get this?” She asked because she only kept it in her room and nowhere else, how did Sebastian even know that, that’s what she likes?, She asked herself suspiciously.
“Your room”
“Ok, how did you even know I like this?” She asked eating from her potato chips.
“Cause I Know, what is it you wanted to talk about?” He queried avoiding that topic,
” Well I want to start going for my antenatal” she informed,
” No” came his shocking reply as Adia choked on what she was eating.
He never ceases to amaze her,
” Just like that, you didn’t even think it through” she exclaimed,
” There’s nothing to think through Adia, you’re carrying vampire babies, do going for antenatal Is not necessary, Evans will take care if everything” he explained to her, actually this matter has crossed his mind before, but he didn’t see any need for it.
” Ok, if you say so, but come to think of it, what are the chances my children are vampires, I’m a human too right, so that might come out as humans, don’t you think?” She reasoned,
” They’re hybrids Adia, half human, half vampires, they carry both Gene in them”
” But how did you know they’re twins?” She asked because she’s never gone to the hospital to check the sex of the child she’s carrying, ever since she got pregnant.
” I can hear their heartbeats ”
” Heartbeats..” Adia uttered softly, rubbing her stomach gently.
” Hmm, hmm” he nodded, puffing smoke from his mouth, releasing it into the air.
“Wow,” Adia exclaimed, she’s feeling so happy now, the joy of knowing her children are growing well,
“I’m so happy Sebastian, I’m so delighted to hear this, I already love them so much, even now they’re growing inside of me” she muttered as Sebastian just nodded.
Truthfully, this conversation was not a good news to him as it was to Adia, she’s feeling very happy with hopes that she’s gonna see them soon and hold them, but deep within him, he knows she’s not gonna live to see them, this pregnancy is gonna bring her nothing but pain and suffering.
He’s been trying a his best to find a solution but has come up with nothing, his only hope now is a witch, so they can do their witchy spells and all, but the problem now is where to find one, because witches have gone extinct, they were all burned to death years ago by vampires, so there’s not even a chance that anyone exist, though they’ve been rumors of a witch being spotted, if they don’t find one, there’s no hope for Adia.
“I really want them to grow with the love of a mother and father,” she said smiling widely, today is a really good day for her.
“Sebastian” she called, gaining his attention.
“Don’t you think the sky looks so beautiful tonight?” She asked looking up.
“Yes”
“Seriously Seb, you’re not even looking up ” she stated,
“They’re beautiful,” he confessed, looking up at the sky.
“Just like your eyes” he added as Adia eyes grew wide like saucers.
“Hmmm..”
“Have I ever told you before how beautiful your eyes are?” He asked
“No..” Adia muttered stunned by his words,
” Then you have very beautiful eyes, Adia” he announced, staring at her with his unwavering eyes.
“Is he high on alcohol? Why is he saying these things?” Adia mumbled to herself, because his words are really scaring her now.
“I’m not drunk Adia, vampires don’t get drunk at least not by this” he said referring to the tequila he was holding.
” You’ll need hundreds of these to take me down, besides I’m just being sincere,” he added.
” I…i.. thank you” Adia uttered blushing hard, his compliment really means a lot to her, at least now she knows he notices something about her.
“Least I forget, you have a party to prepare for, I’ll send in everything you’ll need tomorrow” he announced, placing the cigarette between his hands on his lips as he drew a smoke from it, releasing it in the air.
