We talked until mid-afternoon before we had to reluctantly call it a day.

Before I walked away, I stepped forward, hugged Jacob’s thin body tightly, and solemnly said again, “I’m sorry, Jacob! I’m the one who put you through this!”

I nodded my head, seemingly motivated, and waved him into the car, leaving without hesitation. I knew that my plan was now truly kicking into gear, I was no longer fighting alone, I had a strong group of people behind me.

I want revenge, for me and for Jacob.

Albert followed my car back downtown with me.
