I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 470 Tricks

Chapter 470 Tricks

Jonathan smiled at Thirteen and said, “Understood.”

The latter then retreated with a smile, closing the door to the bedroom behind him.

At that moment, the dimly lit surroundings and the black divider in the center gave the room a secretive vibe.

Subsequently, an aged voice rang out from behind the divider. “What do you wish to ask about, esteemed guests?”

In fact, if Jonathan had wished to learn about the appearance of the person behind the divider, he could easily accomplish it by communicating with the elements to perceive everything around him, but he didn't do so. He merely smiled faintly and began, “I don't have anything in particular to inquire, but I know that after I leave, Supreme Sect's Theos will send someone to question you, or perhaps she might even come here in person. Therefore, I'm gifting you this magic gem, but I hope you'll help me tell a lie.”

The person with the aged voice was silent for a while before replying, “Sorry, but people of Heavenly Questions Pavilion never lie. I don't think we can do business with you.”

“There's always an exception.”

“Maybe, but I don't think this exception will be applied to you.”

“I believe if there must be an exception, it will definitely happen to me.” NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

“You may leave now. I'll have Thirteen return your magic gem later on,” the elder stated flatly.

Yet, Jonathan persisted. “Since Heavenly Questions Pavilion is a premise conducting business, turning a customer away is certainly not appropriate.”

“Please leave!” It seemed there was no room for negotiation.

Nevertheless, Jonathan continued wearing a faint smile and said, “There's actually something very interesting in this world. I wonder if you'd like to hear it.”

The elder was slightly taken aback. “No matter what you say, my decision is final and won't change.”

“I've told you that everything has exceptions.” Jonathan paused briefly before continuing, “The interesting thing I mentioned is about planting a sapling with your own hands, then watching it grow into a towering tree. This process can be quite fascinating, and I happen to be such a sapling. If you're willing to help me, you'll be able to witness the growth of a sky-scraping, magnificent tree.”

The elder was quiet for an instant before letting out a self-deprecating laugh. “Now I'm pretty intrigued. On what basis do you say you will become a sky-scraping tree?”

“I dare say that because I'm a unique, one-of-a-kind existence in Moranta!”

“Oh? How so?”

“Please observe closely, then.” After saying that, Jonathan abruptly extended his hands and closed his eyes.

Then, six spheres of light materialized before him as he gestured magic seals with his fingers.

The six spheres of light—manifestations of water, fire, earth, light, wood, and dark elements—slowly rotated.

Jonathan opened his eyes and manipulated the elements mentally.

Immediately afterward, saplings sprouted from the six spheres of light.

A water-shaped sapling grew from the water element, a flame sapling from the fire element, and similarly, light, dark, and other elements also developed their corresponding sapling forms.

Following that, those saplings started growing at an exponential rate and turned into large trees.

The limited height of the room was just right to accommodate the grown trees.

The use of all six elements signified Jonathan's identity as an Omni-Element Magician.

Moreover, his control over the six-element magic was truly impeccable.

That display of abilities alone had proven that he was indeed a unique existence.

The elder took in everything despite staying behind the divider.

Right then, he was astonished to the core, as he had indeed never seen a young man like Jonathan.

Meanwhile, Jonathan withdrew his magic.

After a momentary silence, the elder spoke. “We cannot accept your magic gem, but Heavenly Questions Pavilion can agree to your request. However, this also means you will owe Heavenly Questions Pavilion a favor. When you attain success and make a name for yourself, I hope you'll bear in mind today's event.”

“Of course!”

“All right, then. What lie do you want us to tell?”

Jonathan elaborated, “Theos is trying to hunt me down, so she will surely visit this place to ask about me. I want you to relay fake information to her, leading her astray as far as possible. In addition, I'd like you to help us prepare some disguising gadgets that can fool even members of Heavenly Questions Pavilion and make ready a few extra sets.”

“No problem!”

An hour later, Jonathan left Heavenly Questions Pavilion with Yeverie.

After exiting the place, she finally fathomed his goal behind this visit. Nevertheless, she asked curiously, “Those people from Heavenly Questions Pavilion didn't know or even ask our names the whole time. Aren't they afraid they won't be able to locate us in the future?”

Jonathan answered smilingly, “Silly girl. Heavenly Questions Pavilion deals with information-oriented business. Thus, their information network is naturally comprehensive, especially since I'm a one-of-a- kind Omni-Element Magician. Ultimately, what they're doing is investing in me. If I become well-known

in the future, they will certainly find me effortlessly. On the other hand, if I meet my demise due to misfortune or fail to accomplish anything, they will have no need to look for me.”

Clarity washed over Yeverie. She flashed a dazzling grin and uttered wholeheartedly, “You're so smart, Your Majesty!”

He chuckled and patted her head. “That's a given. Otherwise, how can I be your king?”

As they spoke, the duo had exited the black market.

Once they stepped out, the streets outside became significantly quieter.

Torrence was waiting there, and as soon as he spotted the couple, he immediately walked over.

“Have you bought the sword?” Jonathan asked.

Torrence nodded. “Where were you two? Why did it take so long?”

Yeverie replied at once, “Mr. Torrence, we went to do something very important.”

“Oh?” Torrence treated her with utmost gentleness. He beamed at her and asked, “Why don't you tell me what important thing you've done, then, Yeverie?”

She immediately recounted everything that happened at Heavenly Questions Pavilion.

Upon hearing that, Torrence couldn't help but admire Jonathan even more, getting rather thrilled. “I never even thought of seeking Heavenly Questions Pavilion's cooperation to spread fake news.

Heavenly Questions Pavilion has quite a reputation in Paradiso, known for being fair and free of deceit. No one will doubt the authenticity of the news they provide. I can't believe you managed to convince them to make an exception for you. That's really impressive!”

“Are you only realizing my greatness now?” Jonathan responded with a smile. He always behaved conceitedly before his best friends.

All of a sudden, he took out the magic gem Thirteen had returned to him and threw it away.

“What are you doing?” Torrence and Yeverie were shocked.

That magic gem is extremely valuable! Aren't you acting too willfully?

“Have you guys forgotten? Skylar and Moose were controlled by the puppet primordial spirit, and they managed to pinpoint our location and track us down. I reckon these magic gems must have some kind of connection to Theos. If we continue to keep it on us, I fear we'll meet our ends sooner,” explained Jonathan.

Realization dawned on the other two. Torrence sighed and commented, “You really are meticulous!”

“It's not just the magic gems we need to discard, but also those storage rings, including yours. We need to leave behind everything from Supreme Sect and keep only some tents and provisions. Everything

else should be disposed of.”

Torrence nodded. “You have a point.”

Consequently, the group threw out almost everything in their possession.

The tent and provisions were all stored in Jonathan's spatial ring, including the dragon egg.

There was no air inside the spatial ring, but the dragon egg didn't need it at that moment either.

After making all those preparations, the trio continued their journey, departing from Norwal City in the darkness of night.

Once they were out of Norwal City, Torrence queried, “Should we start disguising ourselves now?” He knew Jonathan had requested some appearance-altering items from Heavenly Questions Pavilion.

Jonathan replied, “We can't disguise ourselves. At the least, we can't use the items provided by Heavenly Questions Pavilion because I'm worried those objects might contain some traceable elemental energy.”

The two were stunned. “Do you not trust Heavenly Questions Pavilion?” asked Torrence.

“It's not about trust but the possibility of Heavenly Questions Pavilion strategizing a backup plan in everything they do. We can't rely entirely on them.” Jonathan paused for a second before adding, “Hence, what we need to do now is buy some clothes and get changed. The outfits we previously acquired at the black market cannot be worn, for we'll be exposing our trails. I didn't spend such a long time and do so many things in the black market to prepare for our journey. Instead, those are all merely

an effort to confuse Theos, understood?”

Torrence cast a meaningful glance at Jonathan. “You're indeed thorough.”

The latter merely grinned.

The three of them continued walking for some time, scattering footprints across the snowfield.

There were also random tents here and there, clearly signs of human habitation.

Jonathan had his eyes on one of the tents. It was unlit, signifying that the occupants were asleep.

The time was two o'clock in the morning at present. Naturally, everyone should already be resting.

He approached the targeted tent with Torrence and Yeverie.

After reaching it, he used The Void Manifestation and immediately learned about the situation inside the tent. In it lived a couple and a child.

Jonathan didn't expect such a family of three would exist there.

He stood close to the entrance of the tent and uttered, “Excuse me. We are travelers from afar. Pardon the intrusion.”

The moment he finished his words, the couple inside the tent immediately jolted awake in vigilance. As it turned out, the two were skilled warriors who swiftly reached for their weapons.

Surviving under such a harsh environment, the couple had to keep their guard up.

The husband, a bearded man, wielded a broadsword and glared warily at Jonathan. “What do you guys want, coming here and causing a ruckus in the middle of the night instead of sleeping?”

Jonathan said to Torrence, “Take out one hundred.”

The latter immediately did as told.

The former then turned to the couple. “This is a small token of our goodwill. We'd like to buy some old clothes from you.”

“You want to buy our old clothes?” The couple was understandably skeptical.

“Give us three sets of clothes, and we'll leave at once. We hope you can do us this small favor.”
