I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 467 Endless Consumption

Chapter 467 Endless Consumption

Jonathan's slumber was deep. When he woke at six in the morning, he was entirely rejuvenized.

It was warm in the blanket and in the tent. He had plenty of fire talismans anyway, so he did not see the point in saving them. It had been a little over a month since Jonathan arrived at Moranta, and that night, he had his deepest and most restful sleep. Furthermore, he had Yeverie in his arms.

Yeverie was deep asleep too. Jonathan could smell the faint fragrance of her neck.

Just then, a surge of heat rushed into his body as some of his masculine instincts manifested. With a beautiful woman in his arms, he genuinely wished he could take her then and there.

Still, Jonathan was not an outrageous man. Torrence was still around, and Yeverie was easily flustered.

Furthermore, even if Yeverie agreed to it, he could not mistreat her in this way.

Thus, Jonathan closed his eyes and forced himself to sleep. Nevertheless, Jonathan was not so sincere as to keep his hands to himself. He snuck his hand into her collar to hold her soft mounds. After that, he went to sleep, feeling satisfied.

Yeverie awoke the second Jonathan touched her. It was a sensitive spot for women, so how could she not possibly be awake? However, she thought it was unintentional. Therefore, despite her cheeks blushing red, she said nothing about it.

The truth was, she was happy to have her feelings reciprocated by Jonathan.

Though it was desolate in Moranta, she was glad to have Jonathan and Torrence by her side.

At eight in the morning, Jonathan discreetly retracted his hand. After a while longer, Yeverie woke up. She was in charge of preparing breakfast for the two men.

Once Yeverie got out of bed, Torrence woke as well.

Immediately, Torrence yelled, “Hurry up and start the fire, you lazy pig!” At that, Jonathan stretched and sat up. He chuckled before saying, “Torrence, I thought a Holy Golden Knight should be quite capable. why don't you start the fire yourself?”

Torrence rolled his eyes at Jonathan in response.

Of course, Jonathan was merely joking as he quickly started the fire for Yeverie. After that, he stood up and did a quick shake of his body. “It'll almost be done after one more treatment session today.” A pause later, Jonathan added, “We'll continue on our way after breakfast.”

Torrence nodded. “Sure.”

Yeverie then began making breakfast. Meanwhile, Jonathan moved toward Torrence. He then began healing the latter with Water Mend before shifting to Holy Healing Technique. Jonathan used less magic this time.

After the treatment, Torrence's injuries finally healed.

It seemed that healing magic was indeed miraculous.

It could even heal Torrence's severe internal injuries. The truth was, there were few Magicians who

could use Water Mend and Holy Healing Technique at the same time.

Furthermore, both types of healing magic involved meticulous work.

Few Magicians in Moranta would have been able to cure Torrence.

Right then, Yeverie was done making breakfast. Frankly, it was a simple process—she only needed to heat up the ready-made food. Soon, they were having lamb stew with some potatoes. Despite the simplicity of the meal, it was a nourishing and delicious meal while they remained in the snowy land.

Furthermore, Yeverie had put some pepper into the lamb stew, and it brought a wave of warmth into their stomachs.

After the meal, the three looked far more energized. Although Jonathan wanted to find an opportunity to consume elements to improve his mind sphere, something in his mind told him that it was not safe to linger in the area for long.

Soon, the trio were out of Demon Palace.

In the meantime, Jonathan kept the dragon egg in his storage ring.

When they exited Demon Palace, the world outside was still snowing.

At first, the three of them marveled at the magnificent snowy vista before them, but as time went by, they grew sick of the perpetual whiteness.

The trio headed toward Pollerton. According to Torrence, the journey to Pollerton was as far as over six hundred miles.

Jonathan was struck by a headache when he found out about that. Even if they had bullet trains in Moranta, it would have taken them seven hours to reach Pollerton. How slow was the journey going to be for them to reach their destination on foot?

Furthermore, they were going to be trekking through snow.

“Even if there aren't any hiccups during our trip to Pollerton, we'll still take at least ten days to reach there,” Jonathan said to Torrence as he walked down the path. “D*mn, Torrence. You're really taking this slow, aren't you? I can't believe you said we can stay in the Demon Palace for three days!”

“What's the matter?” Torrence queried in confusion.

“Do you think Theos is a fool who'll charge right at Demon Palace to kill us? Even the most brainless idiots won't stay there and wait for her to get them.”

Torrence froze and asked, “Are you saying that Theos has figured out that we're going to Pollerton?”

Jonathan snapped, “Obviously. Pollerton is our only way out now. Moreover, Theos surely knows that she can't go to Pollerton. Given how much she despises us now, she might kill us before we can reach Pollerton!”

Torrence quickly came to the realization that he had underestimated the complexity of the situation. “What do you think Theos will do in response?”

Jonathan's best trait was that he never underestimated his enemies. Hence, he put himself into Lynn's shoes and guessed what Lynn would have done. In a somber voice, Jonathan said, “The land is vast on our journey to Pollerton. We'll be like fish in the sea. Though Theos is invincible, she won't be able to find us right away. Therefore, she's going to send Supreme Sect's elites to come after us this time. I'm guessing that these elites will have spying talismans placed on them by Theos. If any one of them finds us, Theos will quickly track us down.” Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

A pause after, Jonathan continued, “It's hard for Theos to track us down during our journey to Pollerton, but the closer we get to Pollerton, the narrower our roads will become. We might be facing countless magic formations set up to impede us. We might not even realize that Theos has found us. If that happens, we won't even see the grim reaper standing behind us.”

The hairs on the back of Yeverie and Torrence's necks stood when they heard that. Finally, they could sense how frightening Lynn was.

Torrence was impressed. “You're indeed much smarter than me. If we had just made out way there blindly, we would've died on our way there had you not thought about this.”

Jonathan chuckled. “I'm wondering why Mr. Moose and the idiots found it hard to get you. You're not that smart.”

Torrence laughed and quipped, “Can't you go one day without taking a jab at me?”

Jonathan laughed again.

“Since you've guessed Theos' plan, what should we do now?” Torrence inquired.

“First of all,” Jonathan replied, “we need to make sure of something. We're completely defenseless against Theos in person. Theos' puppet primordial spirit is already so terrifying, so can you imagine how mighty she'll be in person?”

That was something Torrence agreed on. “Theos has control over the Supreme Sect, and they're undefeatable in Moranta. I'm sure killing us will be a walk in the park for her.”

“Yes, and that's why we can't do this the hard way. What we first need to do is to change our clothes. I can't say for sure how we should do that, but we should try to find some people and exchange our clothes with them first.”

Torrence's eyes lit up, and he cried out, “That's a good idea!”

Jonathan chuckled and said, “Theos is a resourceful being. She'll surely use magic to show our faces to her subordinates, and her subordinates will remember us by how we look now. If we use disguises, it'll be harder for them to figure out our identities.”

Torrence bobbed his head fervently. “A wonderful plan!”

Once their plan was set, they headed east.

That day was peaceful, and they met no one midway.

When the sun set, they pitched a tent and rested.

Yeverie cooked in the tent. After the meal, they were warm again.

Jonathan then told Torrence and Yeverie to get their sleep first. In the meantime, he began cultivating

magic.

In no time, Yeverie and Torrence succumbed to their exhaustion and fell asleep in the warm tent. Jonathan sat cross-legged. When he closed his eyes, he could sense his mind sphere spinning.

The mind sphere was made of millions of elements, and the elements around Jonathan felt like multiple solar systems in a milky way.

They were all rotating and spinning around stars to their own rhythms. However, elements had the ability to emit an infinite attraction force. Once Jonathan bore the thought of acquiring them, the elements around him would rush toward Jonathan's mind sphere.

That was exactly what he did, and trillions of water elements surged toward him.

Water elements were the most common element in the snowy tundra.

The core water elements began consuming the water elements immediately.

Once those trillions of water elements had been consumed, Jonathan could feel the core water elements in his mind sphere growing stronger. With just a simple thought, he could summon the water elements to him from great distances away.

Jonathan was elated. If he kept this up and upgraded his core elements to a certain degree, he would be able to manipulate the water elements tens of thousands yards away from him.

The forbidden spells were forbidden because of their capability in manipulating a large amount of elemental energy.

A single thought could allow Jonathan to change the world. How much more powerful could he get?

Although Jonathan's core water elements had consumed trillions of water elements, they were still unsatisfied. They craved more. Upon consumption, they could evolve into a much stronger state.

But Jonathan did not continue cultivating his water elements, for he could feel a headache forming. The mind sphere was starting to shake as well.

Jonathan promptly realized that balance was needed for the elemental energy in the mind sphere.

The core water elements had taken in too many water elements, and they could not absorb other kinds of elements to balance themselves out anymore.

Therefore, Jonathan needed to absorb other elemental energy to regain his mind sphere's balance.

That was a frustration that all Omni-Element Magicians shared. Although they were capable of manipulating multiple elements, they had to put more effort into their practice of magic.
