My tired head rested on his shoulder, and a stressed out huff left my lips. I was tired of fighting with everything I had, and I was tired of sacrificing so much of myself and having nothing to show for it.

The silence was deafening, both of us were just reveling in each other’s presence, it wasn’t awkward in the slightest but, if I didn’t initiate conversation then I would have fallen asleep where we stood.
